Every atom on an assembled page competes for a visitor's attention, and sometimes you know which one should win. The atom editor now has an Emphasis control in its Presentation section with three states: Unset, Normal, and Raised. Set an atom to Raised and its title renders one type step larger than the rest of the page, making it the visual anchor without any custom CSS or developer involvement.
Spectare enforces a single raised atom per page automatically. If you mark several atoms Raised, the first one in narrative order keeps its rank and the rest are quietly demoted to Normal. The rule applies in both the streaming path (where components are sent to the browser as they are resolved) and the cached batch path (where the page is prebuilt and warmed overnight), so the behaviour is identical however the page reaches the visitor.
The emphasis is a marketer-only signal. The AI never sees it when assembling a page and never emits it on its own. You set it once on the atom, and Spectare stamps it server-side at assembly time, so the choice travels with the content wherever it appears rather than being re-evaluated on each request.
Because at most one atom can be raised, the feature acts as a deliberate editorial constraint as much as a styling one. You are not picking a font size; you are declaring which single piece of content on this page should command the most attention, and Spectare makes sure that declaration is always respected.
