Tailor your atom types and funnel stages to your industry

Spectare ships with a default set of seven atom types and three funnel stages tuned for B2B and SaaS sites. If your organisation is in retail, ecommerce, media, or any other vertical, those defaults may not match how your buyers actually move. You can now replace them entirely from the Personalisation tab in Settings.

Atom types define the jobs your content does: explaining a feature, answering an objection, showing social proof, and so on. Stages define the sequence of your buyer journey. Both are now editable lists. You can rename, reorder, add, and remove entries without touching any code, and the changes take effect across your whole workspace the moment you save.

The filter buttons in your atom library, the stage selector on the atom editor, and the signals Spectare passes to the AI when assembling pages all update automatically to reflect your configured taxonomy. There is no separate sync step and no engineering ticket required.

Organisations that stick with the B2B and SaaS defaults see no change at all. The seven types and three stages remain exactly as they were, and existing atoms carry on working without any migration.

This is one atom from the Spectare content library. Spectare assembles the right atoms for each visitor in real time, based on who they are and how they arrived.
