Automatic

variant testing

Spectare tests different atom arrangements automatically. Set an exploration rate in Settings and a share of visitors will see an experimental layout instead of the proven one.

The atom content never changes. Only the arrangement is tested: which atoms appear, in what order, with which component types.

How it works

1. Set an exploration rate (10% is a good starting point once you have regular traffic). 2. Spectare routes that share of visitors to an experimental assembly instead of the cached one. 3. Impressions and conversions are tracked per arrangement. 4. Once your signal threshold is reached, the What's working view shows which arrangements convert best for each audience and stage.

What you configure

- Exploration rate: percentage of visitors who see an experimental arrangement - Signal threshold: minimum impressions before a result appears in analytics

Both are in Settings > Workspace > Experimentation.

This is one atom from the Spectare content library. Spectare assembles the right atoms for each visitor in real time, based on who they are and how they arrived.
