Fixed test variants required
A/B testing splits your traffic between two page variants and waits weeks for a statistically significant result. You learn which version won, but not which headline, which image, or which call to action made the difference. The test is also binary: you commit to a hypothesis before you start and get one answer when it ends.
Spectare works differently. Instead of splitting traffic between two fixed variants, it assembles pages from independent content atoms and tracks which combinations convert across every audience segment simultaneously. You learn which atom drove which conversion for which visitor type, not just which page won overall.
The exploration rate control, found in Settings under Workspace, lets you decide how aggressively Spectare tests new combinations against your existing best performers. Slide it toward zero and Spectare focuses almost entirely on serving proven content. Slide it higher and it actively tries new arrangements to find something better. You can adjust this at any time without touching code, giving you a level of control over experimentation that fixed A/B tests simply do not offer.
Because Spectare optimises continuously rather than running discrete tests, there is no waiting period and no moment where half your traffic is deliberately shown a worse experience. The signal threshold setting controls when results appear in analytics, so you can tune the platform to your traffic volume and your appetite for early signals.
This is one atom from the Spectare content library. Spectare assembles the right atoms for each visitor in real time, based on who they are and how they arrived.
